Water Warner was developed by Neil A. Hogan in conjunction with Electronic Desktop Solutions Pty Ltd in 2009 (EDS P/L is now closed permanently) Neil is maintaining the site so that you are able to continue to download the free app. He continues to test it with latest issues of Windows and can confirm that it works perfectly with a newly installed version of Windows 10 in both 32 and 64 bit.

If you’d like to help out a bit with the cost of keeping the site up to date, please consider buying one of Neil’s ebooks online.

  1. Hi. I have Windows 8.1. The Blue W does not show up. In the Start8 Menu, Water Warner is there, but it’s just the exe file. So, I never can ‘right click’ to get to the menu to set it up.

I clicked on the link to the forum, but it did not work.

  2. It’s impossible to change the sound and save. Qhen I start the sofware, the sound come back to original, that is a terrible sound:) How can it save the other kind of sound?

  3. Hi Paul. After testing I’ve found that the program no longer stores the settings in versions of Windows after XP. Unfortunately I do not have enough $ to hire someone to work out how to fix this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  4. Hi Barbara. Sorry to hear that. The system is designed to appear in the taskbar. If you’ve disabled the taskbar you won’t be able to access the controls, unfortunately. If you have an up arrow hidden in the corner, and you’ve already started the program, click the up arrow to find hidden programs. If it is there, you can right click on the W. Hope this helps. – Neil

  5. Hi Fatih. Thank you for your question. Unfortunately it is only designed for Windows PCs at the moment, not Windows phones. Sorry that we couldn’t help you. – Neil
